Swell is a software integration that helps businesses generate reviews and improve their online presence. Calendar booking actions, such as scheduling or canceling an appointment in PatientNow Essentials sends data to Swell.

Message Module

Every customer message (from text, webchat, and Facebook) goes to an omni-channel inbox where it can be assigned to the right Swell user. No messages fall through the cracks and you don’t have to monitor multiple websites to keep up with conversations.

Teamchat Module

This is where all the Swell users within an account can talk and coordinate, all while staying within the Swell platform or mobile app.

People Module

This is where you can manage your entire customer or patient database. You can enroll or un-enroll contacts on this page. As well as import contacts with .csv files.

Review Module

Swell users set up customized review request text messages that are then sent automatically to customers after a transaction or changed appointment status. Their customers can click a link in the text and go directly to the review platform and quickly leave a review. Swell users can monitor and manage reviews in the Swell platform.

Webchat Module

Swell Webchat adds a simple chatbox to your site that directs inquiries right to your team. When a message comes in, the visitor will be automatically prompted to give their contact information. The conversation is quickly converted to text message for the visitor, while still remaining in your Swell inbox.

Survey Module

Swell Survey sends a simple check-in text with standard NPS (Net Promoter Score) survey questions that give you a pulse of recent customer experiences. The survey invite texts can be automated to send out after a transaction or appointment status is changed.

Campaign Module

Swell Campaigns sets up custom emails inviting patients to leave reviews. 

Getting Started with Swell

If Swell is not currently included in your PatientNow Essentials package, please reach out to sales@patientnow.com to learn more.

Your implementation specialist will get your Swell account set up and send you a link to schedule your onboarding session with a Swell specialist. 

Connect or Disconnect Swell

Connect Swell

  1. Navigate to Company Settings > Integrations > Swell
  2. Enter the Client Id and Client Secret provided by Swell.
  3. Click the Connect Swell button.
  4. Green Connected text will display below your credentials to confirm successful connection.

Note: if your credentials are not valid, you will receive an error message to try again.

Disconnect Swell

  1. Navigate to Company Settings > Integrations > Swell
  2. Click the Disconnect Swell button.
  3. Red Disconnected text will display below your credentials to confirm successful disconnection.

Launch Swell Dashboard

  1. Navigate to Marketing > Reviews
  2. The Swell Login page will open in your browser
  3. Enter your Swell login credentials to continue to the Dashboard

Note: we are partnering with Swell to enhance the login process from PatientNow Essentials to the Swell Dashboard
